guys, you arent the first people to have problems like this...there are a lot of other topics that have very useful information you can use, but you just gotta browse around a bit...it really takes too much time to ask all the questions that need answered to pinpoint each persons exact problem, as most everyone has a different issue that needs addressed...unless someone wants to link to those specific in a reply here.

I didn't have much searching time but here's something you could try.

This bothered me for a little bit until I realized my problem was I just wasn't in an adhoc lobby.

A fruitless hour of googling only led me to delightfully unhelpful people saying "this has already been discussed" when other poor saps asked about "Waiting for adhoc SSID setup". Maybe they're talking about threads on the official Prometheus form which is inaccessible for lots of countries?

Stupidly, this forum informs me that new users can't post links, but I followed a nicely written tutorial on Wololo; just google Wololo Pro-C Online Tutorial and you'll probably find it with some clickthrough. As long as you install the Prometheus Online Client properly (and have an updated Pro-C Firmware), don't freak out about a "Waiting for adhoc SSID setup" message until you are IN A GAME'S ADHOC LOBBY. It will say that continuously even if your plugin is properly installed until your PSP is actually trying to send and receive data.

this happens to me occasionally, try creating a game and see what happens, it works for me
