Please Nato,Sworn, or Khaoz tell me tiff I should update to the Pro C Fw, released by ColdBird. And is it safe to "reinstall" the new Pro Update on my Nightly Build 6.60. Could I brick(psp3000) and if I update will I lose any proB10 features? Will certain proB10 things work on this new Firmware?

its name changes to pro nightly if you have pro hold L or R(i fogrot) and press X to reinstall it

And finally..is this permanent CFW? And if not..do I use the same fast recovery?

yes, all of these answers are correct...but let me be the defining voice.

1. it is completely safe to upgrade to PRO-C in any FW...and why not do it, we have only been waiting for this for over a year now...not to mention that the Online Client wont work with PRO-B in later updates of the client.

2. you dont lose anything by upgrading, and everything works just as it did in previous versions...the only big difference is that you dont get the option to toggle the break homescreen feature, its just built in as always being on.

3. worst thing that could happen is a semi-brick...which is fixable by holding the SELECT button while turning on the psp, which will then boot up in OFW, allowing you to run the update from your GAME folder to reinstall/unistall PRO...but that is like a 1/1000 chance of actually happening to you...i usually just unintall PRO, delete all the old UPDATE/FAST RECOVERY/PERM PATCH files, paste the new ones in, and run the update/fast recovery/perm patch again (you wont have perm patch with 6.60)...but you can also do it the way these other guys have said because it will also work just as well.

yes it would...you would need a prx with a different button combo to activate it...as most cheat devices use the HOME button to activate, you would need to find one that doesnt use it...or find someone to make a new prx altogether...and sry bro, but you are going to have to update to PRO-C at some point soon if you wanna continue to use the Online Client...are codes that important to you?

Right now,I like playing ftb1. And no one plays ftb1 pro c..so for right now. I'll stick with my current one.because there is still a few months to play infrastructure with all my friends who can't get pro c. Thank you Nato,Blood,Ace very helpful answers rep +

Wow lol. I take all sort of chances fuck my psp like seriously. Its been threw hell. I atleast dropped it over 50 times. I downgraded form 6.60 to 1.50 like a boss. Also upgraded to 6.60 like a boss. Used the old CFW like m33 and the 3.00 cfw like a boss. Stop being scared Topshot about UPDATING. I downgrading which is a 50% chance of brick. I only semi bricked my psp 1 time. Also ever heard of a pandora pattery?

There goes the rabbit out of the hole i was hoping to keep that a secret to pervent haxing in the pro C series but now its just like online mode now unless coldbird creates a gunction where it takes enough memory to dissable the cheat device

To clear up many problems CB mentioned that the brick was caused only to the PSP 2000 series models which used the CIPL patcher but that problem too has been fixed by Neuroner now(the brick was caused mainly by a typo problem)..... So anyone who wants to update can do so safely!!
