    So lets say I see people playing monster hunter or metal gear solid
    I can successfully join a lobby of players in freedom unite, but when we go on quest it kicks everyone for quest.
    I'm using an NA version of mhfu and probably joining players with mhp2g.
    Are the games not adhoc compatible with each other? Is the ping too high?

    I know with portable ops+ I can join anyone's game. Across region or not.
    So I'm not sure why it doesn't work for monster hunter
    Should I get a Japanese version of the game?

    Does anyone know what games work across region and what games don't?
